The woman behind the wood
Madame Rustica
I am Yasmin K. Elamir, the founder and creative mind behind Rustica.
To me, wood is never just a material. It has character, memory, warmth, and a story waiting to be told.
As the designer behind most of Rustica's creations, I bring my own perspective to every piece — blending heritage, craftsmanship, natural textures, and contemporary living.
I don't simply design furniture. I reinterpret wood, challenge conventional forms, and create pieces that carry identity, emotion, and individuality.
I believe that furniture should be more than functional or beautiful. It should have a soul, tell a story, and reflect the personality of the space it belongs to.
My vision is to celebrate the natural beauty of wood while giving traditional craftsmanship a new, contemporary identity.
Every design begins with a vision, and every detail has a purpose.
Rustica is more than a furniture brand. It is my personal design philosophy, expressed through wood.
